NOTICES

‘PRAYING THE STREETS’: This week please pray for those living in Stockton Close.

PRAYER REQUESTS: If there is someone you’d like the church to be praying for, please write their name in the Blue Folder (Prayer Corner), with a short description of need if appropriate. The list is prayed for weekly at Pause for Prayer.

DECORATING FOR HARVEST: The church will be free for decorating window sills for the Harvest Service all day Friday and from 12-2pm Saturday.

HARVEST LUNCH POSTPONED: The Multicultural Lunch planned for next Sunday has been postponed until Oct 1 (12 noon) to ensure the AC is ready for the event.

CHURCH MEETING: Don’t forget that there is a Church Meeting immediately after the service next week! Agendas are available today.

FAITH AND THE ENVIRONMENT: Do environmental problems have anything to do with our Christian
faith? What does the Bible say about how we should treat the earth? Come and find out during a five week course, starting Sept 26. If you’re interested and would like to find out more (or can’t do Tuesdays), speak to Bryn or Jan.

FOR YOUR FRIDGE (OR WHEREVER): Please take a sheet outlining the themes and passages that we’ll be covering during autumn. You can text questions or thoughts on the relevant passages to 07510 311900 each week.

JUNIOR CHURCH & REFRESHMENTS: Please note that these are in the Community Room during the renovation works in the Ansell Centre.

CONTACT DETAILS: If you are relatively new to our church and we do not yet have your contact details, please fill out a welcome card (available in the vestibule). This will enable our Pastoral Care Team to support you with any future pastoral concerns.

During the morning service the children and young people usually continue their worship in Junior Church. All activities are covered by our Child Protection Policy. Contacts for child safety concerns: Phil Wells (827878), Karen Harman (824765)
For info about children & youth contact: children.youth@hadleighurc.org.uk

Please do stay for refreshments in the Community Room after the service.
