I hope that you enjoy browsing the pages  of our church web site and that you find the information that you are looking for

Hadleigh URC is a member of the United Reformed Church, which is established throughout England, Scotland and Wales. The URC was founded in 1972 and is the result of the union of several denominations – the English Congregational Church, the Presbyterian Church of England, the Scottish Congregational Church and the Churches of Christ. We have a strong sense of church unity and often form local ecumenical partnerships with other denominations. Hadleigh URC is an active member of Churches Together in Hadleigh.
Hadleigh URC is a fellowship of about 150 people of all ages. We meet for worship every Sunday morning at 10.30am. All ages start worship together, but soon children and teenagers go to their separate age groups. We worship in an informal but reverent style and employ music and hymns that range from traditional to modern.
The church is very active within the community and using our Community Rooms and the Ansell Centre we provide the venue for many groups and much of the church’s work of service. There are plenty of volunteering activities for those who are willing.
Several study groups in a variety of styles – Bible study, Christianity Explored, Film Discussion, Any Questions, What Do You Think over a Drink? (topical discussion in a pub) – are available for those who want to go on learning about the Christian faith.
Simply put, we are a body of people who love Jesus and seek to worship God, preach the good news of God’s love and follow Jesus’ command to love our neighbour. If you feel that you might like to be part of the family or if you would like more information about Hadleigh URC, do please get in touch.

As a mark of welcome to Bryn and his family, and of the start of our association with the congregation at Sudbury, Karen thought it would be nice to have centrepiece of some sort, and baked and decorated (the words welcome in beautifully inscribed icing) a most delightfull cake.

Here we see Bryn and Mrs Rickards (Lily) making the act of cutting
